ReachOut is over, and I've watched all but the last disappear from Beijing. Of the nine of us, seven will return to Beijing soon to study in language programs with Princeton, Harvard, Duke and ACC, with visits to Shanghai and backpacking to more southern cities before then. Of the other two, one will go off to Bulldogs in India and one will return home to intern in Congress. It's a diverse bunch, and it's weird to have an end so close to the beginning of my three-month trip. We'll all be back at Yale in the fall, but that is much to far away to think about now.
It's time to wander. I won't have my laptop with me, so I may disappear for a while. Although very little is booked or set in stone, here is a rough sketch:
